Ever since the last update of Rascal I need to restart the console to test my changes, because Rascal doesn't accept the changes otherwise. I'm writing some code, want to test it but I have mistyped a variable name. The compiler warns me, I fix it, but have to restart the entire console because it is not accepted otherwise.

(I figured that this would be too general for a bug report, so that's why I ask it here)

My questions:

  • Am I the only one having this problem?
  • What's causing it?
  • When is it going to be fixed?

Sometimes just importing the package again is enough. But often restarting the console is required.

Just a hunch that I had. Could it have something to do with having multiple errors at the same time?

I think that it must be related to that scenario indeed! Thanks.
